The Rohingya Aid & Empowerment Network (RAEN) is a refugee-led, community-based non-profit organization based in the Rohingya refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. RAEN works to empower the Rohingya community through humanitarian actions, education, advocacy, youth leadership, and community development initiatives.

RAEN is an independent, non-profit, non-political organization founded and led by Rohingya teachers, human rights defenders and community members. We are committed to supporting vulnerable Rohingya refugees through emergency response, education, women and youth empowerment, and human rights advocacy while promoting dignity, resilience, and hope within the community.
Naming:The name Rohingya Aid & Empowerment Network (RAEN) reflects our mission and values.“Rohingya” represents the community we serve and advocate for. “Aid” reflects our humanitarian support and emergency response efforts. “Empowerment” highlights our commitment to strengthening the capacity and leadership of Rohingya communities. “Network” symbolizes unity, collaboration, and collective action among Rohingya youths, activists, and supporters. Together, RAEN represents a community-driven platform working toward positive change, dignity, and sustainable development for the Rohingya people.
