Through collaborative efforts and community-driven initiatives, we strive to address the immediate humanitarian needs of Rohingya refugees while also working towards long-term solutions for their empowerment and self-sufficiency.

RAEN envisions is to support and empower Rohingya refugees by providing humanitarian aid, advocating for their rights, and fostering sustainable development initiatives to improve their lives and opportunities for the future.

Our mission is to deliver vital aid, including food, shelter, healthcare, and education, to Rohingya refugees living in camps. Additionally, we are committed to fostering empowerment among Rohingya communities through skills training, education programs, and livelihood support initiatives. By advocating for the rights and dignity of Rohingya people and promoting sustainable development in refugee camps, we aspire to create a future where Rohingya refugees can thrive and contribute positively to society.

Governance and Management Structure

The Rohingya Aid & Empowerment Network (RAEN) is governed by a Board of Directors, which serves as the highest decision-making and oversight body of the organization. The Board operates in accordance with RAEN’s Constitution, applicable laws, and internationally recognized humanitarian principles, including accountability, transparency, and safeguarding.
Board members are appointed for a renewable two (2) year term through an internal governance process. The Board provides strategic direction, approves policies and plans, ensures fiduciary and risk oversight, and appoints and oversees senior executive leadership.
RAEN’s day-to-day management is led by the Founder & Executive Director, supported by the Deputy Executive Director, who are responsible for operational management, program implementation, compliance, and reporting.
RAEN is committed to accountability to affected populations, gender and youth inclusion, conflict sensitivity, and ethical management, in line with UN and INGO standards.
