As an emergency relief team, RAEN demonstrated profound humanitarian commitment by distributing cow meats to hundreds of vulnerable families in these camps. This act of compassion addressed critical needs exacerbated by conflict, displacement, and food insecurity, providing essential sustenance and enhancing the well-being and resilience of children and families facing adversity.

Capacity Building Training Programs

The Rohingya Aid and Empowerment Network is conducting Capacity Building Training sessions for the young generations of Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, the largest refugee settlement in the world. These training sessions aim to empower and equip the youth with essential skills, knowledge, and resources to build a better future amidst the challenges they face in the camps. By focusing on education, leadership, and personal development, the initiative seeks to foster self-reliance and resilience among the next generation of Rohingya, helping them overcome adversity and contribute to their community’s progress and growth.

The Rohingya Aid & Empowerment Network (RAEN) demonstrated its pivotal role and commitment to humanitarian assistance by actively engaging in providing crucial support to the fire victims residing in Camp 5, refugee camps, Bangladesh. Through the distribution of essential household items, RAEN addressed the immediate needs of hundreds of affected families, thereby significantly alleviating their hardships in the aftermath of the devastating fire incident.

This noble initiative not only offered practical assistance but also served as a beacon of hope for the affected communities, demonstrating solidarity and empathy in times of crisis. By extending a helping hand, RAEN played a vital role in enhancing the resilience and well-being of those impacted, contributing to the gradual improvement of their overall situations amidst adversity.

In a compassionate effort, RAEN, the emergency relief team, aided hundreds of students and malnourished children in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh’s refugee camps during Ramadan. With unwavering dedication, they distributed meticulously prepared Iftari meals, offering sustenance and solace amidst displacement and hardship. These meals symbolized hope amid adversity, reflecting the caring solidarity of others. RAEN’s initiative exemplified Ramadan’s spirit of kindness and compassion, nourishing both bodies and spirits. As recipients broke their fast, gratitude filled the air, uniting diverse individuals in a shared sense of humanity and hope for a brighter future.

The Rohingya Aid and Empowerment Network is conducting a vital survey: “Mortality Surveillance Using Verbal Autopsy to Understand the Disease Burden Amongst the Rohingya Refugee Community.”

This project aims to assess mortality trends and identify underlying causes of death within the Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. As part of the pilot phase, we will conduct Verbal Autopsy surveys with a sample size of 68 from Camp 11, 68 from Camp 14, and 68 from Camp 9—three camps selected for their high population density.

Our goal is to gain a clearer understanding of disease patterns and mortality causes within the community, with the hope of raising awareness and advocating for targeted health interventions. Future expansion of this project will depend on funding availability.

This Project aimed to provide the impactful Educational Services according to a such category in the Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Initially, We are planned to provide the service for two types of beneficiary for 6 months from February – 2025 to July – 2025. The direct Beneficiaries are Adolescents and indirect Caregivers. We prioritized Important of Girl Education and Gender Norms Awareness and set up some seasonal Agendas.
